After finishing up my Journalism degree I was offered a role as Staff Writer on What PC? Magazine, part of VNU Business Publications London.

Having moved to the capital, I was soon producing copy across all sections of the magazine, working with technology companies and PR agencies to source the latest news and products to review. Testing products was a key part of the role and I was lucky enough to travel extensively to trade launches and events – taking in Seattle, Milan, Cannes and Berlin.

I soon moved to become Senior Writer on Personal Computer World magazine, contributing reviews, features, group tests and editing the largest section of the magazine – the Hands On workshops.

I regularly contributed to other VNU titles in the UK and abroad, in particular, Computeractive, as a freelance contributor.
